Camping List

So, you’ve decided to take a camping trip. The next question is… what should we take? Here’s a list of gear choices you might want to consider during the planning stage.

• A tent with a rain fly
• Sleeping bags, extra blankets
• Sleeping mats or cots for the kids
• Air bed for the adults plus a compressor/inflator
• Flashlights with fresh batteries and spare batteries
• Lantern, either battery operated or propane
• Propane stove, Charcoal (if allowed) and a small grill
• Hammer and small shovel
• Portable radio
• Games (cards, horseshoes, frisbee, etc.)
• Weather report (great if the radio includes it)
• Warm clothes, extra shoes
• Food and water (of course)
• First aid kit, sunscreen
