Don’t forget that you can always modify the Spirit by adding measurement lines to it. If you measure it out and mark it with an ULTRA FINE sharpie, you can trace those lines with an engraver (pretty cheap if you don’t already have one) so you have the graduation lines you want. We’re enjoying the videos so keep them coming!

  2. calld2serve Says:

Great job on the vid. Mentioned this to you before. Dave Wendall also did a vid on it. A cxouple drops of dish soap or even bar soap. rubbed on the out side of the cup before using, will make clean up a snap. I’ve use a leatherman for the last 30 yrs. you’ve convinced me to try the new muti- tool. keep the vids coming….Rogue

  11. canteencorner Says:

@AussieMatters You make it sound like I have prices flashing on the screen man – I run a shop – and I use gear – so I do videos regarding the same. These are things that are now apart of my kit, not just random junk I am trying to sell someone.

  12. rbvmtr Says:

nice stove, where do I get one ?

  13. EvergreenBushcraft Says:

Well DAVE is actually off filming for a show on discovery…. he’ll be gone for two years; So if you dont like the videos from the people he has chosen to post vids on his channel, then shut up… and dont watch them.

  14. canteencorner Says:

@ninjuggalo420 It is a Hedgehog Leatherworks Stacked Leather Handle Firesteel. It is also the knife, The F1 has a sharp edged spine made just for striking a ferro rod.

  19. JustinBaker2567 Says:

Those mini stoves are neat, but they SUCK if your trying to boil more than a very tiny amount of water.
